By: Kevin Stith Long Hairstyles
Long hair styles usually work well with any hair type, be it straight, curly or wavy. However, it looks the best if the locks are medium-textured or thick. It is better to skip the lengthy look if you have fine hair or a long and narrow face.
The best long hairstyles are those that use limited preparation time. The multiple ponytails style is a very popular long hairstyle.
The multiple ponytails style consists of three base ponytails, but it is possible to have more ponytails if interested! Once the basic style of three ponytails is mastered, which normally takes ten minutes, you can improvise on it.
If you plan on just having three ponytails long hair style, newly washed hair is great; but if you plan to add knots or braids, it’s better to work with hair that is not so soft. The hair has to be brushed to remove knots and tangles. Then all the hair from the top of your crown has to be picked up and separated into three even sections. Some hair from the ears below has to be left loose to flow around your neck. Each ponytail has to be smoothened into separate mini-ponytails, and secured with either a hair bungee or elastic hair band. Once the basic multi-pony long hairstyle look has been achieved, you could use different braided or knotted styles. You could create multiple ponytails where no hair is left to flow down your back.
Another choice is to have all the different ponytails coiled up and pinned on top of the crown to get a beautiful up-do of braids. You could also braid the center of the multi ponytails and leave the side ponytails unbraided. Then you could pin jeweled hairpins at the top of each ponytail, or experiment with different color scrunches to cover the elastic bands.
The variations with long hairstyles are endless. Long hair styles are limited only by the amount of time one invests in experimenting with different hair styles - and by your imagination.

Sedu Hairstyles
Many of the most famous celebrities in both television and movies are sporting Sedu Hairstyles. Celebrity Sedu hairstyles are one of the many latest fashion trends to come out of Hollywood. What makes the celebrity Sedu hairstyles unique though? Why are the Sedu hairstyles so popular?
The celebrity Sedu hairstyles are very popular for a lot of women who have naturally curly hair, or thicker and more course hair.
Many celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Halle Barry, Angelina Jolie and many others do not have natural long smooth and flowing hair like you constantly see them sporting on television and in movies. The secret of many movie stars is their celebrity Sedu Hairstyles. Why would they choose Sedu hairstyles though?
The celebrity Sedu hairstyles are very popular for a reason. The Sedu hairstyles are created using the Sedu Hair Iron. The Sedu hair iron is uniquely designed and patented using ceramic plates that are actually made of tourmaline crystals. These are combined with a negative ionic charge in order to remove static from the hair. This alleviates the problems of cling in their celebrity Sedu Hairstyles. The end result is a Sedu Hairstyle that will last longer and look better than any other.
How do the celebrity Sedu hairstyles last longer and why? The patented ionic technology of the Sedu hair iron increases the hold in the hair. While this may not seem plausible at first, let us see why. Between the patented tourmaline ceramic plates and infrared heating technology the Sedu flat iron actually molds the hair. The celebrity Sedu hairstyles last longer because there is no need (On most Sedu Hairstyles) for hairspray or other chemicals, which often fail when exposed to heat or light.
What about dyed hair? Actors and actresses frequently have to dye their hair and change their celebrity hairstyles in order to fit better in certain roles. The Sedu flattener Iron is designed so that there is no conflict with dyes or tints normally used in hair coloring. The celebrity Sedu hairstyles you see can be done with any color or variety of hair.
Many ethnic actresses are big fans of the celebrity Sedu hairstyle. Often the desired result is simply to straighten curly, unruly or kinky hair. The Sedu hair iron’s unique patented design and construction make it ideal for this use. Many of the celebrity Sedu hairstyles you have seen are a direct result of using nothing more than the Sedu hair iron and little or nothing else.
Whether the celebrity and the celebrity Sedu Hairstyle in question is on Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Pamela Anderson or one of the many other celebrity Sedu hairstyles being seen more and more among Hollywood’s elite, you can be sure the Sedu celebrity hairstyle was created using a quality made Sedu Hair Iron. If you want to make your own hair style comparable to the many celebrity Sedu Hairstyles, the first step is get your own Sedu hair Iron. Although Chris De Burgh wrote his famous Lady In Red song about a gorgeous lady in a red dress, he might have been describing the stunning red tresses of superstar Jessica Simpson worn over the weekend at the star-studded ALMA awards.
The blonde bombshell was radiant in a sassy chin-length red wig that is part of the new Jessica Simpson/Ken Paves hairpiece line coming out soon.
Jessica’s longtime celebrity hairdresser and best friend, Ken Paves (image at bottom left of this page), confirmed “the amazing color was officially called “ginger” and was the “perfect shade of neutral red” to work in harmony with the “hair and fashion icon’s golden skin tones”.
Ken confirmed that “the stunning wig was tested on Jessica in a recent photo shoot” that is hush hush for the moment”. Sharing inside hair scoops, Ken confided “Jess has always wanted to be a red head” and the “sizzling 100% all human hair wig” offered Jessica a “hot new hair look without commitment”. After all, Ken pointed out, “who better to take the sassy new wig, designed as a special tribute to Norma Jean, than Jessica?”

Perfect hair style
Before searching for that perfect long hairstyle, medium hairstyle or short hairstyle that will compliment your features you will first have to decide what shape your face is, the type of hair you now have, and of course your own unique personality. If you only go by the shape of your face and ignore your own personality then you may not be very happy with the outcome.
An oval face shape gives you the opportunity to wear practically any hairstyle from long hairstyles to medium hairstyles to short hairstyles. Now this is where your personality kicks in.
According to the activities that you enjoy you may wish to wear your hair shorter instead of pulling it back to enjoy participating in sports or keeping your hair out of the way for most activities. To get an example of celebrities with oval shape faces and the variety of hairstyles that look great on them take a look at Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, and Mariah Carey.
If your face shape is rectangular or oblong your best bet would be short hairstyles or medium hairstyles. Bangs will do wonders for giving your face a softer and more gentler look. Celebrities with rectangular faces include Kirstie Alley, Stephanie Seymour and Janet Jackson.
A round face should wear short hairstyles that sweep back away from the face, adds more fullness and height at the crown. Kate Winslet, Christina Ricci, and Drew Barrymore all have round faces and look great with a variety of hairstyles.
Square face shapes should wear short hairstyles to medium hairstyles and should stay away from straight long hairstyles. Celebrities with square shape faces include Demi Moore, Sandra Bullock and Holly Marie Combs.
Heart shape faces should wear hairstyles that are either chin length or long hairstyles and short hairstyles should be avoided. Michelle Pfeiffer, Lucy Lawless, and Claudia Schiffer all belong in the heart shape face club.
If you have a triangular shape face then this is the exact opposite of the heart shape face. You should wear short hairstyles. Kathy Ireland is a great example of a celebrity with a triangular shaped face.
The diamond shape face is as great to have as an oval. You can wear short hairstyles, medium hairstyles and long hairstyles and look absolutely gorgeous. Examples of this include celebrities such as Sophia Loren, Katherine Hepburn, and Linda Evangelista.
Natalie Aranda writes about health and beauty (healthinn.info). Women have the desire to have their hair looking gorgeous each and every day and that is why female consumers spend billions of dollars each year buying hairstyling products. When you begin to search for that perfect long hairstyles, medium hairstyles or short hairstyles that will compliment your features you will first have to decide what shape your face is, the type of hair you now have, and of course your own unique personality.

Wedding Hairstyles
Many brides believe there is a magic formula for wedding hairstyles to determine what they should wear such as long hairstyles, short hairstyles, or even hair extensions. Planning a wedding is not an easy task because it involves many small events and decisions to make concerning the big day, including wedding hairstyles.
There is no such formula, because it is your wedding day and only you can decide among the many wedding hairstyles, to make this day a big and unforgettable event that it is expected to be. Selecting the perfect wedding hairstyle yourself should be an easy task because nobody better than you knows how good or bad you feel when you look in the mirror.
In choosing your wedding hairstyle consider getting help from professional stylists, avoiding the confusion over what are best: shor hairstyles, long hairstyles or a particular hairdo requiring hair treatment, coloration and even the use of hair extensions.
Creating beautiful wedding hairstyles are easy after browsing through the numerous bridal printed magazines or available on the Internet. Who else better than you can knows if you want to wear your hair up, down, curled or straight? Do not worry at all if you have no idea, because if you start planning your hairdo shortly after the engagement announcement, you will have plenty of time to ask your salon for a trial until you are satisfied with the chosen hairstyle.
Long wedding hairstyles are still the favorites of most brides, because they add sophistication and elegance to a wedding ceremony and reception accordingly. However, do not make the mistake of loosing your personal identity by choosing wedding hairstyles that have nothing to do with your own personality.
Go for casual, romantic long wedding hairstyles or practical, modern short styles if you feel that any of them match your own style. The only exception, perhaps, is when you are wearing short hair but you want a fashionable long hairstyle or up-do, although this problem can be resolved if you let you hair grow in plenty of time or opt using hair extensions.
When a wedding is meant to be celebrated with a small number of family members and closest friends, many brides do not worry, as much about their overall attire since there will not be any camera operators, many relatives, circumstantial friends or even strangers to pay attention on details like their hair.
The wedding day is the bride and groom’s day. Give yourself the gift of choosing between the wedding hairstyles that make you feel like a queen, whether you chose from long hairstyles, short hairstyles, or fancy hairdos made with hair extensions.

Short Hair Styles
Having a short hair style makes life comparatively easier to the modern woman. This is obviously because less time is spent on maintaining it.
The short hairstyle has to be chosen to match your personality, lifestyle, time constraints, face shape, hair density and eye color. It also has to strike a sense of balance between your head, body and face.
The ideal short hairstyles are those that boost your confidence whenever you look at yourself at the mirror. If you have fine and straight hair, it shows scissor mark, so it is better to enlist the services of a good stylist with good talent for cutting your hair. You could try exploring hair styles that have short and heavy bangs or layered hair styles.
Layered hair style for short hair creates an illusion of thickness to the onlooker. Avoid hair styles that involve razor cuts as they will only make your hair look shredded, unless of course, your hair stylist is a an experienced razor hair stylist. One might want to avoid hair styles that need lots of blow drying as this will only dry out your hair and make it more susceptible to breakage. If you do have split ends, have your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks.
Those who have soft and fine hair that is naturally wavy had better go in for a short, layered hair style. To top up on the effect of the short hair style, there are numerous hair care products that help you in adding volume and in giving the illusion of thickness to fine hair.
Keep looking for a different hair cut style and inspiration from hair style galleries. This way you can choose the hair style that fits you the best. Just remember to consider your face shape and features when trying out a new short hair style.

While the wonderful rays of Father Sun may warm your bones, it can also do a deep fry on unprotected hair.
Even worse, search and destroy pool chemicals or ocean salt can vaporize all those wonderful natural oils you’ve spent all year balancing and building into your soft, undamaged mane.
Hair icon Jesse Briggs who is the International Artistic Director for n-fruizon ™ Body Therapy shared his summer hair wave rule secrets for surviving sun and surf with great strands.
Unless you plan on a major buzz cut at summer’s end, resist the urge to “do naked hair” or dive into pools with your locks flowing freely and follow the following Safe Summer Hair Rules.
Guarantee gorgeous summer hair waves by kicking off the season with a visit to your favorite hairdresser for a fun, fabulous cut and an S Wave Thermal Set ™.
The revolutionary S Wave Thermal Set ™ utilizes soft rollers and a gentle solution infused with 100% pure all-natural Cranberry seed oil to create a natural S Wave shape. The beautiful S Wave is maintained with Natural Hair Care formulas from n-fruizon ™ Body Therapy.
Over the past year the star has adopted more sophisticated fashions with matching hairstyles that focus more attention on her beautiful features and less on her previous wild child persona. She often pairs her perfectly highlighted beach blonde tresses with sleek, stylish up and down dos that give her a polished yet sassy look.
Hanging out in the sun without special tress and scalp protection is a big no-no. Avoid maximum ray damage by minimizing bare head exposure to the sun between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., when the sun’s rays are the strongest. Shun open air vehicles or convertibles which can transform delicate tresses into instant straw. Go high fashion by popping on the latest headwear from newsboy caps to floppy hats favored by celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Sienna Miller.
Enjoy the fun and freedom of summer. Wear your tresses in sassy styles that easily morph from days at the beach to dressier nights out. Opt for no-muss, no-fuss tousled S Wave inspired hair styles that can be simply created with the help of your fingers and a few well-placed bobby pins. Gently reshape damp or newly washed strands prepped with Medium Hold Spray Gel into soft S shaped waves that are secured against the scalp.
For an alternative look, wrap damp strands into big fat pin or barrel curls and pin into place. Air dry, unpin, shake your head as you tousle for fabulous waves and ripples. Finish with a spritz of Medium Hold Styling Gel.
Cleanse And Condition Summertime Hair With Mild Natural Products
Some hair care products work better than others at interacting with the hair cuticle. Combat potential sun and surf damage by washing and conditioning tresses with gentle, moisturizing, Natural Hair Care products that contain NO Parabens (a synthetic preservative) or Sodium Laurel Sulfates (a synthetic foaming agent).
Pack Away Hot Styling Tools
During Summer months shun moisture robbing heat-styling habits such as blow-drying, hot rolling and flat ironing as much as possible. Switch to super hair friendly Velcro, sponge or soft rag rollers combined with air-drying for lower risk of heat damage.
When you must use hot tools, prep tresses with a protective spray or Styling Crème before drying hair. Opt for blow drying with a long finger diffuser attachment to help lift and re-define S Wave created shapes.
Postpone Color/Highlighting Until Fall
Hair is normally much drier during hot summer months. Ignore the itch to go blonder or lighter since summer months are the worst time of the year to add chemically drying hair colors.
When you must lighten your locks, use a temporary color that does not contain peroxide or damaging ammonia. If you want to have fun with highlights or colors try pin-on ponies in a wild range of colors. For a sultry look, wrap an add-on pony in a vibrant shade into a soft neck-hugging chignon or ballerina style bun.
Safeguard Color Treated Hair
Color treated or damaged hair will benefit from naturally formulated especially for damaged hair resulting from intense styling, color and related chemical treatments and exposure to daily pollutants.
Refresh Your New Wavy Hair Style At The End Of Summer
Your curly or wavy hair needs moisture to stay in shape, so make sure to hydrate your hair with natural shampoos that contain natural Cranberry seed oil. According to the USDA, Cranberry seed oil contains the highest concentration of Antioxidants.
Cranberry seed oil will deliver the benefits of Antioxidants, Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and will help with hair damage recovery by restoring, hydrating and lubricating hair exposed to damaging summer conditions.
Use Natural hair Shampoo and Conditioners that are Parabens free or contains NO Sodium Laurel Sulfate to maintain and prolong the beautiful soft bouncy waves. Harsh detergents such as sodium laurel sulfate, ammonium laureth sulfate, or sodium laureth sulfate can dry out your curls faster than natural hair products.
After hair is restored get ready for Fall by having your S Wave Thermal Set refreshed.
Always make your hair’s protection your priority when having a great summertime. Summer always comes to an end but sun damaged hair can last a long time.

What is crimping?
Modern crimping is a hair styling technique that has been around since the early 1970s. Just like a straightening or curling a crimping iron uses heat to cause a temporary change to the hair’s appearance and texture.iron, Crimping adds texture, and the ability to do a completely new look to your hair.
This is not a permanent style - you can wash it out in just one shampoo! The key to crimping is experimenting to find the look that is best with your face shape and current hairstyle.
Should I crimp?
The ideal face shape to support crimping is small and oval, however, any face shape can take advantage of crimping if it is applied wisely. Some face shapes can support an entire head of crimping, some shapes do best with only partial crimping. Crimping can be done to just the bottom layer of the hair, the top layer of the hair or all of the hair.
Crimping of the bangs will add texture and fullness to the front of your face while crimping of a topknot or ponytail will add height. Why not try experimenting, and crimping multiple ponytails, for example? Remember, if your hair is thin, crimping will give it body. If you have thick hair, it will make it look ‘big’.
With crimping, the ‘messier’ you go, the better! If you want more volume, use a volume enhancing shampoo and conditioner and apply a little volume gel to the roots of your hair before you begin to blow dry.
How to Crimp
If you have analyzed your face shape, the condition of your hair and have figured out a great way to add crimping to your “look” follow these steps:
• Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
• Use a good moisturizing conditioner.
• Finish with a cold water rinse to seal the hair shaft.
• Blot your hair as dry as possible with a towel.
• Detangle.
• Apply a good heat protection spray.
• Blow dry your hair on the coolest setting.
• When hair is totally dry, use the crimping iron on your hair, small sections at a time.
• Apply the crimping iron to the hair for only as long as the crimping irons’ instruction manual states (models vary… but it’s generally a few seconds)
• When the time is up remove the crimping irons from your hair. And then, hey wow! Check out your funky new style!
To crimp, or not to crimp?
If your hair is in good condition, then why not give crimping a try? But make sure you don’t crimp your hair too often (as in every day) as it will cause damage in the long run. If you are going to crimp, make sure that your hair is 100% dry before you begin, and always use a heat protective spray. Since crimping may cause some breakage to the hair, it is best to stop the crimp just above the ends of your hair.
If your hair is in bad condition, and is prone to snap or break, think twice. Even with the aid of a heat protecting hair product, your hair will sustain damage, and its condition will deteriorate still further. Also, don’t forget that crimping might not suit your face shape. Get an honest opining from your girlfriends or your Mom before you go out to the mall!
Where can I buy crimping irons?
You can buy a crimping iron at most beauty supply stores, retail stores and discount outlets like Best Buy, K-Mart and Walmart. But before you make an investment in a brand new crimping iron, you may want to get a professional hairstylist to fix your hair in crimps to see if you like it!

These are helpful tips to help regenerate hair follicles, but they do not cure any underlying conditions, or stress-related hair loss.
* Try drinking this - blend bananas with honey, yoghurt & low-fat milk. A drink rich in biotin can help keep your crowning glory firmly rooted.
* Take dietary supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc & saw palmetto. Supplements are useful when you can’t get enough from natural food sources.
* Invert your head while you shampoo & massage your scalp. This helps promote blood circulation to the head.
* Eliminate stress or else it can be disastrous to your precious hair!
* Get enough sleep.

How many times do you make an effort to do something different to your hair when you have a really important date to attend? There are so many non-permanent ways to add a little excitement. Why not consider some of these ideas for ponytail glamour- they range from the simple to the dazzlingly daring
• The knotted look! Separate your ponytail into two sections, carefully twist into random knots, and simply pin the knots to the back of your head. Experiment with pulling out loose strands, changing the knot positioning on your head, or with having more than two knots at on time.
• Sky’s the limit! Use a really high ponytail to create a spiky sprouting effect. Tease the strands of your hair out from the ponytail with a wax based product or a high quality hairspray. Note: this style works better on shorter hair. If you have long hair, it is still possible, but you will have to twist the majority of your locks up into a bun or similar to shorten the length before beginning the process.
• Stitched up. Use a pretty ribbon, a piece of twine or a strip of leather to create a kriss-cross effect at the top of your ponytail. You could get really creative and create an intricate weaved pattern with two or three little ponytails within one.
• Curly girly. A slick shiny ponytail which ends in a cascade of bouncing curls is always a way to achieve a guaranteed head-turning effect. And it’s really easy too. All you need are some hot rollers or curling tongs… et voila! Curly confidence in minutes!
• Portion control. Use pretty bands, leather strips or stylish clasps to make a single ponytail took as though it is separated into different bits. This is a really easy way to make your hairstyle appear intricate, when it’s really not!
• Feminine touch. Why not treat yourself, and accessorize with something really special? You could weave real flowers through your braids along with tiny sparkling diamante clips to really catch the eye. If you’re feeling slightly funkier, try things like feathers and beads.
• Shine on! Dazzle your companions with some high quality hair glitter. If applied evenly, the ‘halo effect’ can give your hair an unmatchable lift. But be warned… the glitter may stay in you hair for a while, so don’t be tempted to use it the night before an important business meeting!
• You’ve come a long way baby! Add temporary extensions especially for the night. These are quite expensive, but good extensions look really natural. If you’re looking for ‘prom queen’ style attention, this may be the way to go. It guarantees attention!
Whatever hairstyle you try, you’ll never have looked so gorgeous!
