Short Wedding Hair Styles

So, you have the wedding dress, the venue, the band and the church and yet you still have no idea what to do with your new hip short hair style. Then look no further, as we will offer you nothing but good advice on short wedding hair styles.

Make Your Big Day a Day to Remember
Short Hair doesn’t have to mean sexless. If you have a mid length bob and think that there is nothing you can do with it, do not panic.

The solution is very simple opt for soft and easy to manage curls, once you have put your hair in soft rollers, your hair becomes a lot more exceptive to the up do look, as shown above. See more photo of this hair style.

If you like the idea of this 70s look but feel that for your big day, it needs to be more elite, then all you have to do is add a few effortless touches.

As you pin your hair up once it has been curled, then elegantly place individual flowers to your liking to add that all feminine touch.

Now as we are living in the 21st century, weddings aren’t always traditional and if you fit into that category and want to opt for the more modernised look, then the length of your hair enhance this exact style.

All that is required of you is a very strong hair spray that will freeze your hair in place and hair straighteners, then clearly identify the strands of hair you want to accentuate and voila you’re ready for your big day.

Again if you fit into the more contemporary look and you don’t wish to have straight hair, then you can create the same look with curly hair but at the same time creating the shambolic look.

Finally to add touches of femininity insert a few vibrant coloured flowers, cleverly distributed around your crown.

As our lovely Jennifer Lopez you can also create this fabulous look with short hair.

Rollers and hair pins are all it takes to create this sensual look.

Last but not least if you feel that you have a beautiful short hair style and do not want to do anything to it, then that is absolutely fine.

In fact this style gives an effortless, innocent appeal that clearly sets the mood for your wedding day.

Men’s Hair Style - How to be a Star

The root to a man’s appearance is purely based on clothes and shoes. Men seem to dismiss their hair, thinking it isn’t a vital prospect to their everyday life.

Well guess what guys we are here to tell you that you couldn’t be more wrong. Nevertheless we are here to help you with the general rights and wrongs of men’s hair style.
By Natasha Tsimonos

Now men’s hairstyles differ to each individual’s personality, but of course as with every fashion segment there are certain dos and don’ts.

So here is what you shouldn’t do:

If your hair is falling out, let it, don’t be afraid. There is absolutely no need to cover it with a hairpiece.

Going grey? Heard of George Clooney?

The wet look is definitely a no no, we’re only trying to help you guys. So beware of men with the John Travolta look from Grease.

Now if you think we have covered all the disasters a man could possibly execute then you would be wrong. If you feel your hair is too much to deal with then go for the short sides and top, do not opt for the shaved look. It’s not the solution guys, honestly.

Now for the bit you have been waiting for, the path to stardom. Please absorb the following content:

Long Hair on a man is now the essence to successfully looking HOT. It wouldn’t hurt if you invested in a pair of GHD* either. (*GHD = the saviour for all women, hair straighteners).

Now another look that’s bound to get you noticed is the 70’s look. This is for hair that is quite wavy, no volume at all and split down the middle, formerly known as the “rock disco hair”.

Hair Style with Bangs

Appropriately enough one of the latest trends is to add a bang to your much-loved hairstyle, now there are dos and don’ts with any style as there is with this one. For different faces there are different bangs to suit you.

Side Swoop Your Hair To Glory
To establish the length you want your bang then all you have to do is just listen to yourself, whatever you feel comfortable in go for. If the shape of your face is round or square then I suggest you don’t go near a heavy bangs, as this will make your face look plump. Longer faces can afford to go for a more dramatic look as this particular face shape can carry it off with ease.

To be aware of the kinds of bangs you can create we have enlisted a few of the favorites and explained in detail what they will look like.

The Feathered Bangs
This rids your hair of any heavy residue and suits anyone without dramatically changing their appearance. This look is used to soften and lengthen your face.

Another great aspect is that you can directly conceal any eye wrinkles you are trying to avoid from being noticed. It adds great style and clearly trims off years.
This choice is clearly a favorite of many celebrities including Charlize Theron and Jessica Alba.

The Micro Bangs
This is a good way to provide a balance for your face if you occupy a wide forehead. As well as decreasing the length of your forehead it also gives the illusion of a shorter face shape if you possess a long face.

This is a very short fringe or bang, so be sure before you get this done, as it will have dramatic effects.

The Wispy Bangs
If you are one of those women who have a small but wide forehead then this is the cut for you as it will materialize into the way it’s cut by condensing your wide forehead and lengthening the size of it. As well as these factors it brings emphasis on your eyes. This consists of longer strands and is appropriate for those who aren’t quite ready for controversial change.

The Asymmetric Bangs
Again this bang can be identified as concealing a large forehead. And clearly leads to a dramatic look that should only be attempted by professionals.

This is purposely cut in an angle and shouldn’t be attempted if you don’t feel comfortable with change.

The Choppy Bangs
This look can give the illusion of a thinner face and create cheekbones that were hardly noticeable before. Their overall duty is to highlight and accentuate your best features.

Casual or Elegant, The Messy Hair Style Is Here

Prepare to be shocked! This summer there is a new hair style that will make you look sassy and hip. But the name of the style is a word people usually don’t want associated with their hair: “messy”.

Messy, elegant messy, slightly messy and casual hair styles are all the latest rage and they have redefined what is sexy, comfortable and appealing in hair this season. Celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller, Kirsten Dunst and Poppy Montgomery are the new proponents of the messy look.
Why is messy hair so hot? Partly because it eliminates the need to spend hundreds of dollars on perfection. Why bother splashing out when the latest fashion flash is telling us to relax our look.

But don’t assume that this “imperfect” hair style is easy.

In an article on TwinCities.com, Nelson Jimmo, owner of Nelson Hair Salon and Spa in West Hartford, says people are spending a lot of time these days getting their hair mussed up just right. The elegant messy look is not as easy to achieve as it appears.

Yet when it comes to the simple, basic styles, this hairdo is a lot quicker than most and costs a lot less.

One Way To Get Messy:
Wash your hair with the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type.

Towel dry your hair.

Apply a sizeable amount of mousse. Rough dry your hair with your fingers while either air drying or blow drying it.

Then use a hairspray that locks your hair into place. Adjust hair strands according to your taste.

If your hair lacks volume, don’t worry. All you need to do is carefully select strands from the crown of your head and backcomb with a fine comb. Then spray into place. Pinning up strands completes your “perfectly imperfect” look.

Be sure to pin it up as you please as this can add to your new incredible hairstyle. This will now complete that oh so perfect messy look.

Go Messy… Or Not
Remember, with every new hair trend that comes along, it’s important to just say “No” to styles that don’t suit you. If the messy look isn’t right for you, try sexy, shiny hair or one of a thousand other styles.

You’ll find many different hair style ideas right here at Short-Hair-Style.com. Finding your new look is a good place to start.
